Thank you so much for visiting Suga's Shack. The Shack, as I refer to it, has been quite an adventure since it began in 2021. I have made several pivots along the way but I think where I am now is where I was supposed to be all along. 

My family is my center and why I do what I do. My parents built a house at Lake Oconee in 2001 with intension of living there full time in retirement but they both passed before that dream was realized. So when my husband, Roger, retired from teaching and coaching in 2019 and we chose to leave Gwinnett County and move to the home they build on Lake Oconee.

We have 2 sons, Casey and Austin, who are both married to amazing women, Kayla and Melanie, that have become such a part of our family that I cannot imagine life without them. Our first grandchild, Bo(Austin and Melanie's), is now 2 1/2 and holds a piece of my heart in his little hands. We have 2 more on the way- Casey and Kayla will be giving us our first granddaughter, Sadie Brooke, in December 2026 and Austin and Melanie are expecting our third grandchild in January 2027-what amazing blessings!!

I made my way back to God and my faith over the last 4-5 years thanks to my best friend, Kirsten Thompson, and now I am ready to express my faith boldly. This is where my apparel line was born. My goal is to offer inspiring and unique designs on t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats for everyone from your family's newest addition to grand parents.
